Nishijin-ori sashes are traditionally crafted made to last for generations, not only throughout your own, but also throughout your children’s and grandchildren’s.

Our aim is to introduce the beauty of lacquer and gold leaf works throughout the world. Phone cases for iPhone as well as other smart phones are made using the Hikibaku techniques. Everything is hand crafted using the same materials and methods of traditional Hikibaku.

Hikibaku is cut thinly and woven into a cloth, therefore designed specifically for the kimono sash. However, unlike traditional Hikibaku, these framed pieces are not restricted to the conventional expressions of the technique. Through applying color lacquers, genuine gold and platinum leaf with Japanese paper, Hikibaku paintings are created and ultimately framed.
